The purpose of this announcement is to increase awareness amongst bidder potential bidders of the upcoming Home Road Water Plant (HRWP) project that the City of Columbus is planning to construct. An informational session will be held to update potential bidders on the project. The session will be hosted on GoTo Webinar on September 14, 2026 from 2-3 pm EST.

Project Delivery, Schedule, and Budget Update for Potential Contractors

Delivery of the HRWP is in two separate contracts. The Site Preparation Contract was bid and awarded in 2024. The Water Plant Contract advertised in February 2026 with a bid opening of August 26, 2026. No bids were received and therefore the City of Columbus plans to deliver the Water Plant project using a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). The session will focus on the Water Plant Project. Information on the two HRWP contracts is provided below:

  • Intake in O’Shaughnessy Reservoir
