ABC operates the largest non-Union, multi-Trade adult training program in Central Ohio. We also partner with more than 40 high schools to create opportunities for young people to develop careers in the trades.

ABC Central Ohio helps connect the construction industry with the workforce of the future.
We actively work to help high schools identify speakers who can educate students on careers in the trades, identify companies willing to serve on advisory boards and committees, and create on-the-job career pathways for students to enter the workforce upon graduation.

Adult Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship training is a way to build a highly skilled, motivated workforce by emphasizing learning by doing. Registered apprentices are employed from Day One, with wages paid progressively until they master the skills needed by an employer. Apprentices are provided on-the-job training by a skilled mentor and attend classroom instruction that aligns directly with their job duties.
