The Associated Builders and Contractors of Ohio (ABC of Ohio) today
announced its endorsement of Jon Husted for United States Senate.

ABC of Ohio represents nearly 800 Merit Shop construction contractors and related firms across the state. Our members compete on quality, skill, and safety to build Ohio's essential infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, data centers, and commercial developments that support communities statewide. We are committed to fostering a fair, open, and accountable construction environment that drives economic growth without unnecessary burdens on taxpayers or businesses.

Senator Husted understands the detrimental impact of exclusionary policies, such as project labor agreements (PLAs), that exclude Merit Shop contractors and raise costs for Ohio taxpayers. He likewise understands the devastating impact that legislation introducing government-mandated arbitration during collective bargaining, with its new and unprecedented federal arbitrators, would have on businesses throughout Ohio and across the country.
