Associated Builders and Contractors’ Construction Executive, the magazine of the business of construction, won a 2023 Ozzie Award for best B2B print magazine redesign. This award is part of the prestigious Folio: Ozzie and Eddie Awards competition, which honors design and editorial excellence in the publishing industry.

CE debuted the redesign—created in partnership with THOR Design Studio—with its January-February 2023 issue in celebration of the publication’s 20th anniversary.

“Our first and most important goal in redesigning CE was to give our readers a better magazine—with content that looks great and reads well,” said Christopher Durso, editor-in-chief of CE. “The print redesign introduced a bold and stylish look and feel that complements the magazine’s robust content. This award from our fellow publications professionals suggests we hit the mark, and that’s a high honor.”

Soon, a redesigned constructionexec.com will launch, along with a strengthened presence on social media, further establishing CE as the best source for multiplatform content about the business of construction.
