Clay Shoot and Networking Event – Save the Date!

Q: What’s for dinner? 

A: You’re in for a treat!  We’re having a HOG ROAST!  You’ll be feasting on finger licking BBQ pork, loaded potato casserole, sweet corn casserole, fresh green house salad, and of course an assortment of treats for dessert.   

Q: What if it rains???

A: Grab your raincoat and your boots, kids – cause we’re shooting regardless of the weather. That’s how you make memories.

Q: Will we be selling raffle tickets in person at the event?

A: Yes! Absolutely!  You can pay in cash, or we’ll have a square to take credit. (But Cash is always easiest! wink wink.)

Q: Can I still sign up to shoot?

A: Unfortunately, we are at capacity for shooters.  We have had to close registration.  However, you can still sign up to do a tent sponsorship, or just come and buy raffle tickets, eat dinner and have a beer with us!  Buy 6 tickets, get a free dinner.

Q: How do I get signed up to attend this event? 

A: Easy!  Just e-mail me at sprice@centralohioabc.org!  Tell me what type of sponsorship, how you want to be involved, and I’ll get you all signed up and squared away.

Q: What forms of payment do you take? 

A: We can invoice you, or you can provide me with your credit card information and we’ll charge you.  If you’d prefer to send a check, please make it out to ABC Central Ohio. 

Q: Can I bring my own gun? 

A:  Yes, of course! Bring any of your own preferred shooting equipment, PPE, etc.  

Q: Will there be golf carts? 

A: There are a few golf carts on site, but they are reserved for our staff and Principle Sponsors.  We will try to utilize them as ‘shooter shuttles’ and ‘courtesy carts’ whenever possible.  If you have your own golf cart and want to bring it, please feel free!  The more the merrier. 

Q: What do I need to bring if I’m setting up a tent sponsorship? 

A:  You need to bring your own tent, table, and chairs.  Feel free to bring information about your company or group, swag to pass out, and things that showcase your company!  Do you have interactive stuff you want to bring to let people tinker with? Go for it!  Want to create a game at your booth? Please do! Want to give out prizes or water or snacks? Sure thing!  

Q: What time does the event start? 

A: Registration begins at 11:30am.  Shooting Safety Training will be at 12:30, and we should be out and shooting by 1:00. Dinner will be ready for us when we get done shooting, around 4:00 or 4:30. 

Q: What time can I start setting up my tent? 

A: Black Wing Shooting Center opens at 10am.  If you think it will take you more than an hour and a half to get set up, you can come earlier than that. I’d suggest 10 or 10:30am as a good set up time though, if your setup isn’t too involved. 

Q: What time is networking done?

A: We’ll keep all of our networking and tents up during registration and shooting.  Once shooting is done, tents can pack up. (Probably 4 or 4:30).  If you’re shooting, you may want to bring someone else to hang out at the tent and talk to people. 

Q: Can I donate some merchandise to be raffled off? Things with my logo on it? 

A:  YES!  Just let me know what you have, and send me a photo. I’ll include it in our raffle! We LOVE merchandise to raffle!
